He has memories of explaining Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel since seventh grade (under the satisfied look of his middle school art teacher.) Now she has been a licensed guide for 20 years!. Beatrice is an art historian with a Master degree with honors from “La Sapienza” university in Rome. She is a licensed tour guide since 2015. Vincenzo
Vincenzo speaks five languages: English, German, Spanish, French and Italian. His main interests are in history, fine arts and anthropology. He is also a Renaissance theater expert, actor and drama teacher. His tours are based on storytelling techniques. Vincenzo has been traveling all over Europe, but Rome remains his home and his favorite place to live. He particularly enjoys walking tours in the city center as they offer a great opportunity to see people’s every day life in Rome.
Valeria
Valeria was born in the States but grew up in Rome. She spent her childhood traveling and visiting archaeological sites because of her parents jobs. Visiting many places allowed her to develop a passion for history and art in all its forms. Her passion became her job. After a master degree in classical archaeology she started working on the field and as a professional tour guide. Being an ambassador of Italy’s history, art and traditions is an honor and a privilege for her.
Alessia
Alessia has a Post-Doctorate degree in Byzantine Studies as well as degrees in Early Christian and Mediaeval Art History. She has worked and studied abroad extensively, gaining an international perspective on her area of expertise. Alessia spent many years involved in academia, doing research as well as teaching university courses on Byzantine and Mediaeval Art and Greek Palaeography. She was an instructor of Art of the High Renaissance at Richmond University. She has been giving tours since 1998 and loves to share her passion with passionate people.
Maria Libera
Maria Libera is a licensed tour guide of Rome since 2016, she holds a Master Degree in Art History with a specialization in the Renaissance, with a side interests in philology, botany and the interpretation of symbols in art. When not running tours, she loves practicing yoga and traveling around the worlds. Her profound knowledge of pastry and ice cream shops in Rome is a reason to always go back to the Eternal City. Katia Mauri was born in Rome, but part of her family is from Canada and USA. After studying Tourism Management for five years, she decided to get another degree in Foreign Languages at Tor Vergata University doing research on Italian-American Literature. She has been working as a Tour Guide in Rome, Vatican City, Ostia Antica and Tivoli since 2010, giving tours mostly in English although she speaks French and Spanish too.
